Demanding Justice, Discipling Righteousness

We Won't Go Back
“Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did and it never will. Find out just what any people will quietly submit to and you have found out the exact measure of injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them, and these will continue till they are resisted with either words or blows, or with both. The limits of tyrants are prescribed by the endurance of those whom they oppress.”
Frederick Douglas
The Election And Re-Election Of Donald Trump
Douglas’ insight remains as true now as when he spoke it nearly two centuries ago. Oppressors push their limits only as far as the oppressed allow. Trump and the MAGA movement gauge how much oppression they can inflict on African Americans by watching our silence or our resistance. History has shown that quiet acceptance invites more injustice. Our ancestors knew this well; each generation fought to secure its freedoms, as Coretta Scott King reminded us.
White support for Trump’s presidency was driven by a desire to preserve white dominance, not economic concerns. His rise was a direct reaction to Obama’s presidency, which intensified fears among some white Americans of becoming a minority in a nation they consider their own. Kamala Harris’s role as Vice President further amplified these anxieties, especially with her proximity to the presidency.
Trump’s response was to disrespect and demean her at every opportunity, knowing that such open hostility toward a Black woman would rally racist sentiments. For his base, Trump’s legal issues—felony charges, incitement of insurrection—are irrelevant. To them, he represents their last stand to preserve a social order built on white male supremacy.
The limits of this oppression will be defined by the response of those willing to resist it.
Make America Great Again
MAGA is not just a political movement—it’s a deliberate effort to reverse decades of progress. With control over the White House, Congress, and the Supreme Court, Trump and his MAGA allies are advancing Project 2025, a detailed plan to dismantle civil rights, suppress voting, and cement white dominance, even if it takes authoritarianism.
SCOTUS Is Part of the Conspiracy
In Trump v. United States, the Supreme Court (SCOTUS) took unprecedented steps to expand Trump’s power. Also, in Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo, SCOTUS weakened federal agencies by overruling the “Chevron Rule,” which offered Trump even more control over the federal government. These two landmark decisions fundamentally altered the balance of power in our government, giving Trump and MAGA sweeping authority. We summarized both cases below:
Presidential Immunity (Trump v. United States)
The Court ruled that a president has absolute immunity from criminal prosecution for their official acts. This means that Trump and future presidents will be effectively shielded from legal accountability if they can show their actions were official acts. With this decision, the Supreme Court has placed the presidency above the law, setting the stage for unchecked executive power.
Chevron Deference Overturned (Loper Bright Enterprises v. Raimondo)
In the Chevron case, SCOTUS ended the Chevron precedent, which required courts to defer to federal agencies when interpreting ambiguous laws. This decision severely limits the ability of agencies like the EPA, DOJ, and EEOC to enforce critical protections, including civil rights, environmental regulations, and workplace safety. This is a cornerstone of MAGA’s effort to dismantle the “deep state,” undermining the very agencies that safeguard equity and justice.
These rulings, combined with Project 2025, empower MAGA to reshape the government, weaken civil rights, and strip power from communities of color. And this is precisely the course they have taken the first few weeks of Trump 2.0
Trumpism Is Flooding The Zone
Upon taking office, President Trump initiated policies adversely affecting Black communities. Key actions include:
Dismantling Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Programs: Trump’s executive orders terminated federal DEI initiatives, causing confusion and delays in sectors like the Air Force’s promotional exams. His administration issued a “Dear Colleague letter” misinterpreting Students for Fair Admissions, Inc. v. President and Fellows of Harvard College, effectively ending affirmative action. Trump’s anti-DEI stance extends to the private sector, pressuring corporations to abandon DEI commitments.
Environmental Regulation Rollbacks: The administration reversed protections in areas like Louisiana’s “Cancer Alley,” increasing pollution and health risks in predominantly Black communities.
Undermining Labor Rights: By dismissing key members of the National Labor Relations Board and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Trump weakened agencies protecting workers’ rights, disproportionately affecting Black employees.
Civil Rights Enforcement: Trump’s executive orders targeted civil rights laws and their enforcement. He dismissed high-ranking Department of Justice officials responsible for enforcing these laws and nominated Harmeet Dhillon as Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights. The NAACP Legal Defense Fund opposed her nomination, stating, “Her conception of civil rights… fundamentally flawed.” Additionally, Trump closed several civil rights offices within the government.
Military Leadership Changes: Trump’s anti-DEI campaign extended to the military. He fired General Charles Q. Brown Jr., the first African American Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, replacing him with a less qualified white officer. Following Trump’s DEI executive orders, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth ceased supporting Black History Month and halted recruitment of outstanding Black engineers.
These actions have instilled fear nationwide, indicating the effectiveness of Trump’s strategy
We created AAMKA to fight back

In response to Trump’s return, we are creating a Christian movement called AAMKA, which stands for African Americans Mobilizing For Kingdom Action. It is designed to resist, mobilize, and protect Black communities from Trump and MAGA’s implementation of Project 2025.
The time for inaction is over—it’s time to fight back.
Disinformation as a Weapon
To hide their true intentions, MAGA operatives have weaponized disinformation to mislead the public. This is not accidental—it’s a calculated strategy to disguise their regressive agenda and manipulate communities into supporting policies that harm them. Here’s how they’ve used disinformation to cover their tracks:
- Rebranding Oppression as “Freedom”
MAGA operatives frame voter suppression laws, DEI bans, and attacks on civil rights as efforts to protect “freedom” and “fairness.” In reality, these policies restrict freedoms for communities of color and entrench systemic inequities.
- Vilifying “WOKE”
The term “WOKE,” which once symbolized awareness and activism, has been distorted by MAGA to mean something negative. By turning “WOKE” into a slur, they seek to discredit any efforts to address systemic racism, equity, or social justice.
- Targeting Black Men with False Narratives
Pro-Black imposters targeted disinformation campaigns specifically to Black men, spreading false claims that the Democratic Party neglects their interests while framing Trump as a champion of economic opportunity. These narratives were designed to divide the Black community and suppress voter turnout. They worked!
- Promoting Misinformation about Civil Rights Protections
MAGA operatives falsely claim that DEI programs and affirmative action are discriminatory against white Americans. This lie fosters resentment and builds support for policies that dismantle hard-won civil rights protections.
- Creating Distraction Campaigns
By focusing on cultural “wars” over issues like critical race theory and transgender rights, MAGA shifts attention away from their broader agenda to dismantle federal protections and concentrate power in the presidency.
The impact of disinformation cannot be overstated. It erodes trust, creates division, and confuses voters about what’s at stake. It’s a deliberate tactic to weaken resistance and ensure MAGA’s policies go unchallenged.
Understanding Project 2025
Project 2025 is more than a policy document—it’s a blueprint for turning MAGA’s vision of a regressive America into reality. Spearheaded by conservative think tanks, Project 2025 outlines how a MAGA-led administration plans to remake the federal government in ways that will profoundly harm Black communities and marginalized groups across the nation. Key components include:
- Centralizing Power
Project 2025 proposes sweeping changes to consolidate presidential control over federal agencies, ensuring that executive power can override independent oversight.
By granting the president power to fire federal agency leaders at will, MAGA seeks to replace career professionals with loyalists who will enforce their discriminatory agenda.
- Eliminating Civil Rights Protections
The plan includes gutting agencies like the DOJ Civil Rights Division and EEOC, which enforce anti-discrimination laws.
It specifically targets diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, labeling them as divisive and unnecessary.
- Destroying the Administrative State
Project 2025 builds on the *Loper Bright Enterprises* ruling, seeking to dismantle further federal oversight by slashing the budgets and power of agencies that regulate education, housing, and environmental justice.
- Targeting Voting Rights**
The plan promotes restrictive voting laws that disproportionately affect Black and brown communities, mirroring Jim Crow-era tactics of voter suppression.
The Goal of Project 2025 is to dismantle the federal government’s ability to protect civil rights, enforce equality, and regulate systemic injustices. In its place, MAGA envisions a government that prioritizes corporate interests, white dominance, and unchecked executive authority.
