Get Involved

At the Lazarus Law and Justice Project (LLJP), we always need good volunteers and interns. We’re constantly recruiting people with a passion for justice and to help exonerate innocent people. We especially need lawyers, law graduates, law students, paralegals, criminal justice majors, and others in the legal field. However, being in the legal field isn’t a requirement.

What Are The Requirements:  The requirements are minimum. They are listed below.

1.    21 years old

2.    At least a high school diploma; some college preferred

3.    Pass background check

4.    Be a hard worker

Other ways to get involved:

Support.You can get involved by supporting our mission of freeing people who’ve been wrongfully convicted and reforming the criminal justice system. Share us on your social media platforms and tell your friends and families. Write your elected representative encouraging him or her to support criminal justice reform.

Invite Us To Speak.You can also get involved by helping us get our message out. Invite us to speak at your event. We’re happy to talk about our cause whether the crowd is small or large. We love advocating and educating others about the wrongfully convicted.

Donate.We’re a non-profit organization that serves primarily the poor and needy. Most of our work is done pro bono or for a small fee. Hence, we need donations from like-minded individuals. No amount is too small.
